Why Are There Some Solution Pans on the Rock Surface?
Solution pan is one of the most common surface solution features of limestone, rainwater can be held by rock on hollows or relative flat sections, with time goes by, water in turn makes the rock into pan-like shape by solution. There is usually a breach on the pan rim through which the water goes out.
