Some white and black colored limestone can be observed in the stone forest. The pale-gray rock is doted with many grotesque dark-gray patches. This kind rock is called “mottled limestone”；end to come together. The light colored rock matrix is limestone containing more calcite, and the dark colored patches are dolomitic containing more dolomite.
