On February 13, representatives of Fangshan UGGp in Beijing, visited Shilin UGGp for an exchange and communication.

After visiting the Tourist Center, the Major Stone Forest Scenic Area, the Minor Stone Forest Scenic Area, staff members of the Fangshan Geopark got some knowledge about the long and complex geological evolution of Shilin UGGp.

While visiting the Shilin Geopark, both geoparks engaged in in-depth discussions and exchange regarding scientific research and science popularization, smart tourism, interpretation system, practice and activities between geoparks and their partners, promotion of sustainable development in the geopark communities, geopark management and marketing, and revalidation work, etc.

During the visit, both geoparks shared valuable experience and knowledge. By exchange and learning from each other, we are developing the UNESCO Global Geopark brand as a quality label.
