On 10th March, representatives from Huangshan UGGp came to Shilin UGGp for an exchange visit.

The delegation of the Huangshan Geopark Management Committee, first visited Shilin Visitor Center, then both Geoparks held a discussion and exchange meeting where both sides signed "sister geoparks" agreement and formed a friendly cooperation relationship.

After the signing ceremony, both sides will work together to promote the scientific management and sustainable development of UGGps by exchanging and sharing experience in the areas of protection and management, planning and development, geological research, and science popularization, etc.

The delegation successively visited the Geopark Museum, the Major Stone Forest Scenic Area, the Minor Stone Forest Scenic Area of Shilin UGGp. The two sides had an in-depth exchange and discussion on geopark building and management, scientific research and popularization as well as the revalidation work of UGGps.

Both sides hoped to boost future exchange for closer friendship and fruitful cooperation.
