Huangshan and Shilin global Geoparks signed an agreement and set up “Sister Geoparks Relationship” in Visitor Centre of Shilin Geopark in the morning of March 10, another significant event to strengthen mutual communication and cooperation since 2009 when both sides officially established “Scenic Area Friendly Partnership”

Both Huangshan and Shilin are UNESCO global Geopark members, and sister partnership will help enhance and improve deeper mutual exchanges and cooperation on geological heritage conservation, science education, personnel management, information sharing and sustainable development.
