On May 19th, the "Shilin Global Geopark Publicity Week" was held at Shuanglong Square in the Shilin County Seat. It was organized by Shilin Geopark Administrative Bureau, Youth League Committee and community volunteers.

By distributing publicity materials, performing folk song and dance, knowledge quizzes and on-site interpretation, local residents knew more about the Geopark and more proud of their hometown, the importance of geoheritage protection and geotourism promotion.

This events improve residents’ awareness of cherishing the earth, protecting nature, caring for the environment and loving Shilin.
