From April 11 to 12, 2015, Stone Forest Scenic Area held Stone Forest Scenic Area 2015 Guide Skill Contest in Stone Forest Tourist Center International Conference Hall.  

The contest consists of two parts, respectively elegant demeanor show (guide for selected touring lines of Stone Forest Scenic Area) and scene reproduction. In the contest of two days, 36 excellent candidates competed, integrating the ethnic culture, folkways and folklores, city sightseeing and featured tourism products of Stone Forest in their explanation. Colorful on-site guide comments and wonderful singing won applause of the audience. Based on comprehensive appraisal of the candidates by the judges, one winner of first prize, three of second prize and six of third prize were appraised. With obvious themes, thorough organization, well-defined characteristics, extensive participation, novel form and significant effect, the Contest made a large number of excellent guides with knowledge on etiquette, fine explanation, overall knowledge and great talents distinguish themselves. The contest fully displayed the comprehensive quality and image of the guides of Stone Forest Scenic Area and encouraged all the guides of Stone Forest Scenic Area to improve their quality and explanation service quality and to make greater contribution to the development of Stone Forest into an international best tourism resort.
