During the holiday, the performance "Stone Shines with Splendor, Forest Celebrates the National Day" will take place daily from 14:00 to 15:30 at the Riyue Plaza. The Stone Forest Art Troupe, along with local folk groups, will present a stunning National Day-themed song and dance show for visitors. The enthusiasm of the Yi people's Sani dancers comes alive in their movements, and the lively rhythms are sure to get everyone dancing along. The melody of Love My China resonates in the air, inspiring patriotic feelings in every heart. Visitors can also participate in interactive games, such as trivia quizzes, to win exquisite souvenirs and take home both joy and cherished memories.
The Ashima Welcoming and Parade activities are truly captivating. Each day from 9:00 to 10:40, a procession featuring the Guoshanhao Band, Bimo Blessing Ceremony, Yi King Flag Team, Xiyue Band, Moon Guitar Ensemble, and Dasanxian Band will take place. This vibrant parade will move along the route from the entrance of the Stone Forest Scenic Area to the Small Garden, Stone Forest Hotel, Summer Resort, and Riyue Plaza, engaging visitors in interactive welcoming celebrations.
The ROCK BATTLE dance competition takes place daily from 11:00 to 12:00 at Riyue Plaza. This exciting event combines traditional square dancing with modern pop music, creating a vibrant dance celebration that perfectly blends the lively atmosphere of Yunnan's folk dance, a relaxed ethnic vibe, and the natural beauty of the Stone Forest. With creative themes and fun challenges, it promises to add even more festive enjoyment—come join us for the challenge!
The "My Impression of Stone Forest" mobile photography contest will kick off on October 1 at both the Stone Forest Scenic Area and the Dali Chongsheng Temple and the Three-pagoda Culture Tourist Area. All visitors to the parks can participate by scanning a QR code. The organizers will offer generous prizes, along with weekly and monthly evaluations. At the end of the month, the award-winning photos will be displayed in prominent locations within the scenic areas. Through the art of mobile photography, the contest aims to showcase the stunning natural beauty and rich cultural heritage of the Stone Forest, collectively conveying the essence of "a lifestyle called Yunnan".
The "Stone Journey" immersive interactive experience at the Bushaoshan of Stone Forest Scenic Area takes visitors on a fantastic adventure. Using the "Stone Journey" map and task booklet, the participants are guided by NPCs portraying characters from Journey to the West as they complete traditional competitive games such as cuju (ancient Chinese football), archery, ring toss, and pot throwing. They also engage in intangible cultural heritage activities like calligraphy, sugar painting, face painting, and paper cutting. It feels like a journey through time, embarking on an adventure to discover hidden treasures.
The "National Day Fun: Paddleboard Dance Together" event will take place at Stone Forest Lake. The paddleboard relay race runs daily from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, inviting visitors from within Yunnan Province. Those holding a Stone Forest’s ID Card can enjoy a buy-one-get-one-free offer. Participants will also have the chance to earn a national paddleboard training certificate issued by the General Administration of Sport of China. From October 1 to 5, there will be daily paddleboard yoga performances from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, where visitors can join in and learn paddleboard yoga, experiencing the charm of water sports.
The original ecological art performance team presents a folk-themed showcase, featuring boat singing on Stone Forest Lake, performances of embroidery and moon guitar songs at Qiezhu Weijia, flute playing at Jianfeng Pool, and opportunities for visitors to join in traditional Dasanxian dance in the scenic area's natural dance venue. This allows guests to fully experience the unique Sani culture of the Yi people in the Stone Forest.
