Seminar on China-ASEAN Cultural Tourism Business Development was held in Stone Forest Global geopark Yunnan on December 18th. This seminar was sponsored by the Organizing Committee of China International Friendship and Cultural Festival, Yunnan Wangfang investment group and authorities of Shilin County, with aims of building Kunming and ASEAN cultural, tourism, economic resources interactive platform, enhancing understanding, promoting  substantial cooperation and exchange.

Representatives and envoys from Brunei, Vietnam, Mongolia, Laos, Algeria, China, South Korea, Burma, Philippines, Kampuchea and other East Asian countries attended this seminar. Officials and leaders of Party committee of Kunming municipal, management personnel from Yunnan Wangfang investment group also attended the seminar. Guests and representatives discussed economic and trade cooperation between Kunming City and ASEAN countries through tourism, and other topics such as investment, project planning, service trade and goods trade. Trade cooperation and tourism product development between  Kunming and ASEAN were further promoted on this seminar. Guests also made marks on the permanent location in Yunnan of ASEAN exposition.
